Formatting: "Match Destination" vs "Keep source"

When i paste data into an Excel spreadsheet from an outside source (email, web page, document, etc), Excel always pastes the data in with the "Keep Source Formatting" option, and pops up that little icon to let me choose the paste format (source or destination).
I need to use the "Match Destination Formatting" ALWAYS, but i can't find an option to make this the default.  The extra clicks and time it takes to make the selection after every paste is an unnecessary annoyance, but i havent been able to find a solution
anywhere besides "just double-click or hit backspace before you paste in the data".  Those types of workarounds shouldn't be needed.
Please help!

Actually, Excel 2003 pastes data and format from an External source.
So 2007 has not changed in this regard.
It seems that what you want to do is change the default behaviour of CTRL+V.
You can do this through macros.
Add this code to your Personal.xlsb workbook.
In the workbook code pane;
