YouTube video troubles
When I want to view a video on youtube on my pc, I don't have any problems.
The video plays fine. But I also post
links to a video on an internet forum.
When I do this I often get the "video unavailable" notice. Some videos go through
with no problems, but others do not and then I get the notice. There is no difference that I can see between the videos
that play and those that do not.
They all play when I just go to youtube and view them on my pc, but not when I post
them and provide a link. From this, I assume it is not a copyright problem.
I would like to be able to link all videos
without this problem occuring.

· Which internet browser are you using?
· Where are you trying to post the video links?
· Were you able to post videos earlier?
· Did you try using a different browser to check?
· Were you able to post video’s earlier?
Try these steps
STEP 1.
Method 1: Clear cached data in Internet Explorer
To determine whether a performance issue or an error message is caused by corruption in the temporary Internet files or in other cached information that is used by Internet Explorer, you must clear cached data.
To do this, follow these steps:
Open Internet Explorer 7.
Click Tools, and then click
Delete Browsing History.
In Delete Browsing History, click
Delete All.
Click to select the Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons check box, and then click
OK.
A progress bar is displayed to indicate that the browsing history is being cleared.
After this process is complete, test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.
If issues still occur, try Method 2.
Method 2: Reset security settings for Internet Explorer
If you configure security settings to be too restrictive, you may prevent Internet Explorer from displaying certain Web sites.
To determine whether an issue is caused by overly restrictive security settings, revert to default security settings.
To
do this, follow these steps:
Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools, and then click
Internet Options.
Click the Security tab.
Click Reset all zones to default level, and then click
OK.
After you do this, test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.
If issues still occur, try Method 3.
Method 3: Run Internet Explorer in "No Add-Ons" mode
Internet Explorer add-ons, such as ActiveX controls and browser toolbars, are used by some Web sites to provide an enhanced browsing experience.
An error may occur if an add-on is damaged or if an add-on conflicts with Internet Explorer.
To determine
whether the error is caused by an add-on, run Internet Explorer in "No Add-Ons" mode.
To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then type
Internet Explorer in the Start Search box.
Click Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons).
Internet Explorer opens without add-ons, toolbars, or plug-ins.
Test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.
If issues still occur, try Method 4.
STEP 2
Create a new user account and see if it works
STEPS TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.
1.
Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button , clicking
Control Panel, clicking User Accounts and Family Safety (or clicking
User Accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking
User Accounts.
2.
Click Manage another account.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3.
Click Create a new account.
4.
Type the name you want to give the user account, click an account type, and then click
Create Account.
STEP 3
Make sure that the proxy setting is set to Use proxy settings of the Web browser.
If you do this, Windows Media Player will connect to the default connection that you configured in accessing the Internet.
a. Click the network tab
b. Under Streaming Proxy settings, click HTTP, and then click Configure.
c. Select Use proxy settings of the Web browser, and then click OK.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair corrupted or missing system files:
- Click Start.
- Type cmd, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to open the elevated command prompt (I.e. Command prompt with administrative rights).
