How do I write a function that returns the number of rows which contain a value above a specific point?
In my spreadsheet column A refers to locations which are monitoring the concentrations of a chemical. The rest of the columns (336) are the number of hours of the simulation. I just want to be able to write a function that tells me which of my locations
has a concentration over 0.01mg/L at any point in the simulation without having to look through all of my data. THANKS!

Take a look at the COUNTIF() function. I cannot determine from your sample information what correlates to more than .01mg/L.
But the general format (for a single column of data) to get a count of the number of rows in that column that have a value greater than something would be like this:
=COUNTIF(A:A,">" & 0.01)
where A:A is the column to examine and .01 is the lower limit.
You can make it a little more efficient by specifying the rows to examine, like this:
=COUNTIF(A2:A105,">" & 0.01)
- Go to the Start button.
- In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
- At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
- Restart your computer.
