I m looking to purchase a Lg notebook computer in korea.
A salesman is trying to tell me that while the xnote notebooks work with windows 7 home premium the drivers will be messed up for an english version of windows 7 ultimate

Are the drivers in both copies the same?

Another question :

Anyone know if it would be a problem for me to purchase the windows 7 ultimate K ..the korean version and change it to English..
will this change everything to english or will some parts still be korean?

Hi,

While I don't know about the specific device I would imagine that you're probably OK and the drivers will function quite fine.

That said however, certain drivers do somtimes have user-mode programs associated with them (for example, network drivers sometimes have connection software) which may only be available in Korean in this case.

Personally though, I don't think it would be an issue...
