Windows update killed sound, webcam, printer. Help!

After a restart on 5/31/2013, Updates were installed and my computer has not been the same since.  I have lost my sound, my printer and my webcam.  Running Windows Trouble shooter produced no useable results.  Device Manager has yellow flags on:

Reinstall of drivers from the motherboard DVD failed.  Installatin of downloaded RealTek HD Sound Drivers R270 and R271 failed with Error Code 0x000000FF.  Although my Kodak ESP7 is connected by USB, after the update, its status is shown as disconnected.  My
webcam does not work.  Removal of the offending updates failed.  System Restore failed.  All the downloads and helpful hints  that I tried failed.  Do I need to do a complete wipe and reinstall or does someone have a better solution?
