Solution to Problem: Adding a footer to Windows Mail

Adding a footer to Windows Mail

Does anyone know how to add a footer to Windows Mail messages? I've tried using the signature setting but it comes up as exactly that - a signature at the end of a message.
I want to add something that sits right across the bottom of every message and
includes a small picture but I can't find a setting that will allow me to do so.

Download Error Fixer (Free)

You have to designate an HTML file for the signature (aka footer) and then specify the image in the HTML file.  So a simple example is copy this and paste it into Notepad:

This is some text

Then edit it as you wish and put in the full path to the image.  Then save it with an htm file extension.  Then go to Tools | Options | Signatures and click New and then at the bottom select the File option and browse to the htm file.
