2 Laptops connected with 1-sided advantage homegroup
I have 2 laptops
laptop A and B
[Lap.A] connected to the same HOMEGROUP with [Lap.B]
They can access each other's Library files (Because I shared it).
[Lap.A] can see [Lap.B]'s Files, so do [Lap.B].
HOWEVER,
I want to remind that this happens "Sometimes", so solution with same computers' name doesn't apply.
Change setting ON/OFF on password also doesn't apply, and changing setting on win config also doesn't apply.
I wonder what cause this problem, but I am sure
this is not "setting" problem because it happens
I tried everything: updated my drivers, leave/re-joined homegroup, change settings, etc.
Oh, 1 more thing.
the one that can't access folder's files is [Lap.B], and [Lap.A] always can access [Lap.B]'s files.
So, that is unfair for my B laptop.
Thanks for reading my problem, I googled everything but people have problem with both connections.
In my case, it's 1 sided (sometimes) problems.
Extra condition information:
1.
I never bring out my laptops/separate.
2.
I sometimes shutdown 1 of my laptop, Laptop B always ON never sleep.
Only turn off the monitor, machine still on; charging my iphone sometimes.
3.
have no other computer on network.
4.
different names.
5.
Laptop A = win 7 Home, Laptop B = win 7 prof.
6.
lap A = 64 bit, lap B = 32 bit(notebook).
