Chinese IME not working properly in IE8 ?

Characters constructed using the Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan) IME are not inputing correctly with IE8 to Hotmail email window.

The chinese S/W keyboard keeps disappearing (even though it is checked as enabled) and the IME pad has similar problems.

If I open MS Word, I can create the text and paste it into the Hotmail ...
it is just IE8 not working right with the IME.

This used to work fine with IE7.

Does anyone else have issues with Chinese IME with IE8?

I suggest you install Vista service pack 2.

I also suggest you reinstall the IME update.

Check memory problems

Memory management issues can also cause a BSOD in Windows 7. Thankfully, Windows 7 has a Memory Management Diagnostic tool that detects and solves problems related to system memory.

1. Click on the Start button on the Taskbar.
2. Type "Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool" or "Memory" (without quotes) in the Search box or,
3. Click on Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool (in the search results).
4. Click on "Restart now and check for problems (Recommended)".
