ACER Extensa 5620Z Laptop. Upgraded to windows 7 Key Board Issues

Just wiped and completely reloaded laptop with Windows 7.  For sure everytime I hit the y key or the u key my cursor jumps back several places.  Anyone got any resolve for this...it's driving me nuts

Which application are you using when you get this issue?
Have you tried using an external keyboard and check if you get the same issue?
 
Check if you get the same issue when you boot in safe mode.
To boot to Safe Mode you can follow the below given steps:
 
1.
Remove all floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.
Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the Lock button, and then click Restart.
2.
Do one of the following:
 a.
If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and  
hold the F8 key as your computer restarts.
You need to press F8 before  
the Windows logo appears.
If the Windows logo appears, you will need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then  
shutting down and restarting your computer.
 b.
If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow 
keys to highlight the operating system you want to start in safe mode, 
and then press F8.
3.
On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the safe mode option you want, and then press ENTER.
For more information about options, see ‘Advanced startup options’ (including safe mode).
4.
Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.
When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of the display.
To exit safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.
 
Once you boot to the desktop then try installing the Windows installer 4.5 that you have downloaded from the link given.

Make Sure that your Hardware Meets the System Requirements

Microsoft Windows Requirements :

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

This error can be due to some configuration requirements for you system. If your computer hardware is not up to par, then make sure you upgrade where necessary before continuing.
