Solution to Problem: I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and IE8 keeps crashing

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and IE8 keeps crashing

How can I repair IE8.  I can't delete it and reinstall it.  System won't let me.  There isn't a way to repair it shown.  How do I do it short of reinstalling Windows Vista Over again, which I don't want to do.  If I can't repeir IE8, I will be forced to
use Mosilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers, both of which some things I go to won't work without some problems.

Tools>Internet Options, Advanced tab, click the "Reset" button at the bottom.
Generally you will find everthing documented about your IE version in the Help file...
from IE select the Help>Internet Explorer Help menu....
type in your search terms..
(eg..
reset IE) and you will get instructions like mine above.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
