Can not install Sony Vegas 9

When I try to install Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Version 9, I get the error message "could not access network location .
".
I am able to install programs from other manufacturers without any problems.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

This issue may occur if there is an incorrect setting in one of the following registry sub keys:
·        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
·        HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
