Flash Player will not run in 64-bit IE8.

However, even in 64-bit Windows, you can run the 32-bit version of
IE8, and you can install flash player there without a problem.
Switch
to 32-bit IE8 and your problem will go away.

Click on System and Maintenance, then click Problem Reports and Solutions.

Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.14 Flashes in Sections and Not in Correct places in IE9

Adobe Flash Player detected a new version to download.
(v 10.3.181.14) I downloaded the new version and now on many websites ads, news videos, slideshows, etc flash sections of the pictures or videos across the upper right portion of IE 9.
The videos are
not pinned to the part of the website where they normally appear.
I am using the 32 bit free download version in the 32 bit version of IE 9 as is recommended by Adobe.
I have uninstalled Flash Player and reinstalled it.
This issue returns with the new version.
I read in one of Adobe's support forums that this is an issue with many people and even affects some Android phones.
I would like to know if there is something I can do to correct this issue or if there is a way to uninstall v10.3.181.14 and reinstall the
previous version.
This issue has made it very difficult to use the internet since it makes parts of some websites unusable because the flashing parts of Adobe's software do not let me click on links they are covering.
The new version of Flash Player does work
when playing vidoes once you get away from the page where this issue occurs.

Holy wow, I can't believe it, but I think I figured this out.
Frigging Adobe! And now I noticed that someone posted my same solution!
Still, I'm pretty proud of my troubleshooting.
Don't know if any one of these steps solved the problem, or which one -- if any -- is the only solution, but here are the steps I took to solve the problem.
I'd suggest starting with the last step first, in case you don't need to do any of the other things.
My Setup: Dell 15R Laptop Windows 7 IE 9 1.

Unchecked "Hardware Acceleration" in the Flash settings.
Others have noticed that if you right-click on the frame where the Flash SHOULD be playing, you can select and open the Flash settings.
However, the settings dialog box appear in
the middle of wherever the heck the flash image is playing -- in these cases, the upper-left corner of the webpage.
Use the Tab key to navigate through the various options, the Enter/Return key to "push" a button, and the Space Bar to select a radio button
or check/tick box.
Unfortunately for me, none of those keys would uncheck the "Hardware Acceleration" box, so I opened Firefox, went to the same webpage, right-clicked on the Flash image, chose Flash Settings, and unchecked it there.
This setting seemed to
carry over to Internet Explorer.
Updated all video drivers.
I went and found every available opportunity to update video drivers, display/monitor drivers, video cards, etc., and updated them.
Windows Update.
I also did a full Windows Update for all the required, security and optional recommendations.
Checked "Use software rendering instead of GPU Rendering" in Advanced Internet Options.
Internet Options Advanced check the "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering".
Restart Internet Explorer.
It was after this last step when the problem was fixed.

i recently tried downloading pictures from my htc hero cell phone to my computer by plugging it into one of my usb ports, now my battery charger won't charge my aser laptop.
does anyone out there know what the problem might be? i have no idea and had no
idea about the problems with letting your battery life get so low.
i read that the optimal setting is to never let it get below 30%.
is that true?

This is an example of the list of names in alphabetical order by last name and inserted into columns E and F in pairs and all employees listed are under 60 hours.
It automatically skips anyone who has 60 or more hours.
Works great.
How can I get it
to keep repeating until all employees are @ 60 hours or more? It comes up with a list of names straight down the sheet starting @ D2, then the other pairs them off in E and F.

I feel like a real dimwit as I just cannot figure out how to clear a recently composed, copied letter so as I can create a new letter to copy.
I have been closing the Office Word and than re-opening to begin another composition.
What a pin head, duh!!?!!

When you have finished one letter, save it by clicking on the Office button & selecting
Save. Then select the Close option from the menu list [this will close that file not Word itself]. Then select the
New item from the menu list & you will have an empty file to work with [if the
New item opens with content already in it then you have accidentally saved something into the file
Template - the Help file also explains about this].

Run CHKDSK

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.

I had a square-face clock installed because I can tell the deifference between the hour hand and the minute hand; on the round-face clock, the two are almost the same size.
I got rid of the installed clock because ny stand-alone desk clock started working
OK when I figured out how to set it,

But I now want the gadget clock back.
How do I make it re-appear? The standard control panel option does not conain the square-face clock.

Adobe Flash Player does not install

I have tried several times to install Adobe Flash Play V9 and also V10.2. The install window comes up and it says the installation is complete. I then need to close the Download Manager. As far as I know the installation was complete and successful.
There is never an icon on my dekstop.
However, everytime I try to run the program that requires it, it asks for the installation again. What is happening?
